Goodmedia has just successfully competed against approximately 2,000 other West Midlands small businesses to become 1 of only 4 companies chosen by the Birmingham Post and United Arab Emirates to be taken to Dubai on a fact finding trip and to further the business links between the 2 cities through the exchange of new innovative ideas and joint business ventures. Goodmedia will now travel to Dubai to represent Birmingham¹s best, as a small and dynamic media enterprise in a city that is fast becoming the UK¹s top digital city.
Dubai is renowned as a global city, with an expected annual figure of 15 million tourists by 2015, an extensive network of radio, television and electronic media, and is the media hub for the Middle East. With a million UK visitors travelling to Dubai every year there is clearly huge potential in the forging of media links between Birmingham and Dubai, and Goodmedia will now be at the forefront of cross-cultural media production in future years.
